G5 — Abdomen
At the visit we ask about your daily round: water, sleep, movement, mealtimes. Asking is not advising, and we hold the line between them on purpose. That line is what this page is about.

About this treatment
That questions about the way you live should end in a recommendation is what almost everyone expects from a beauty appointment. Lines like "drink more" or "go for a walk" are quickly said, and nobody asks where they came from.
We do not form those lines. Advising on food, sleep and exercise falls outside our remit, and we have nothing dependable that would carry such advice anyway.
We ask all the same. Because when the visit should fall, and what you notice over the days after it, has to do with that daily round. The question serves the planning, not the steering.
Method
The document we hold gives no technical values and says so itself: they were not in the certificate, so they were not estimated. Describing how the machine works from a document without values would mean filling the gap with sentences of our own.
How the appointment runs
- The questions about the daily roundIt starts with a few questions about your daily round. What they are for is said in the same breath.
- Saying the boundary out loudThat we do not advise on these subjects is stated plainly. If you want advice, you hear whom you can turn to.
- The applicationWork goes on in the area. If something becomes uncomfortable, you need not wait to be asked before saying so.
- The daily round in the fileWhat you said about your daily round goes in. Not as a target and not as a recommendation, but as an input for the planning.
- Deciding the hourThe hour of the next visit is chosen with that input; if your daily round changes, the hour changes with it.
At a glance
- The questions about your daily round are put in order to plan the hour of the visit.
- No advice is given on food, sleep or exercise; that boundary is said out loud at the visit.
- If you want advice, you are told whom to get it from.
- What you say about your daily round goes into the file, but not as a target.
- The treatment is given in both studios; the questions put are no different there.
Session plan
Between two visits the daily round shifts on its own: the season, the pace of work, a holiday. We ask after those shifts not to chase a target but to choose the hour of the next visit properly.
Who it is planned for
If you have come looking for a programme for how to live, let us say it at once: we do not offer one. The questions we put serve the planning of the visit. Whether it suits is decided together at the visit.
- If you are expecting advice about your daily round, say so at the start; we will explain the boundary right away.
- Your mealtimes can bear on the hour of the visit; tell us about them.
- If there has been a procedure in this area or something is still under medical watch, pass that on.
- If pregnancy is a possibility, say so before the questions about the daily round come.
What to be aware of
The document we received states its warnings at the level of a class rather than a machine: do not handle with wet hands, do not run with a damaged cable — points that could be written for any mechanical massage device. We do not present them as this page's warning list, because a reader would take them for information about the machine itself.
Before your appointment
Recommended
- Come with a rough idea of your mealtimes and sleeping hours.
- Resolve to describe your movement over a day in a sentence or two.
- Wear something that leaves the abdomen easy for the hands to reach.
- If you are expecting advice, say so at the start of the visit.
To avoid
- Do not read the questions about your daily round as an assessment; they are taken as an input.
- Do not line up a heavy meal shortly before the hour of the visit.
- Do not take on a routine tip you read online without asking us about it.
- Do not come unannounced if there is an open wound or an irritation in the area.
After your appointment
Recommended
- Simply carry on with your usual daily round in the hours after the visit.
- If something in your daily round has changed, say so next time; the hour is chosen from that.
- Stay with things that do not pinch at the abdomen.
- Write what you notice in the area on a line of its own — not next to your daily round.
To avoid
- Do not rearrange your eating or your sleep because of the visit; we give no such advice.
- Do not take a hot shower or put anything hot on the area in the first hours.
- Do not feel over the area to gauge the state while it is still tender.
- Do not read what you notice in the area through your daily round.
When to contact us: If a pain, a bruise or a tenderness you had not reckoned with stays at the abdomen, ring us. If it is about digestion or about your general health, that is not our field; turn to a doctor.
Good to know
Why do you ask about my daily round?
What have water and sleep to do with the visit?
They bear on the hour of the visit and on what you notice over the days after it. Mealtime, sleep and movement are the inputs to both.
It is not an assessment but an input for the planning.
Why do you not advise?
If you ask this much, say something as well
Advising on food, sleep and exercise falls outside our remit, and we have nothing dependable that would carry such advice either.
Advice with nothing behind it becomes, however well meant, a steer, and the reader cannot check it.
Whom do I turn to for advice?
Whom should I ask about these subjects?
At the visit we tell you whom you can turn to. That is not brushing you off; it is an admission of where our remit ends.
A doctor or a relevant specialist is the right address for these questions.
Does what I say turn into a target?
Does the daily round I described sit in the file as a target?
It does not. It sits there as an input for the planning; it is not written as a target.
The moment a target shows up in the file, it quietly turns into a promise from us.
How does mealtime bear on the visit?
Is it bad to come after eating?
At a visit where the abdomen is worked, mealtime can bear on how comfortable it is, and that is why we ask.
It is not a condition; it is the input we use when choosing the hour together.
How should I keep my note?
Do I write what I notice in the area next to my daily round?
Keep them on lines of their own. Written on the same line, a connection between the two has already been made for you.
Whether such a connection exists we do not know, and we do not want the note to suggest one.
Why is there nothing about the device?
Why do you not write how this treatment works?
Nothing from the maker covering this name has come in to us; what we went through for it is set down on our side name by name.
On how the daily round and the treatment hang together we have nothing dependable either — the same hole.
The Fatma Süha approach
At Fatma Süha we do not advise on how to live. Such lines are quickly said, they look well meant, and they have nothing behind them.
We ask all the same, because it genuinely bears on the hour of the visit and on the days after. The difference between asking and advising we say out loud at the visit.
If you want advice, we tell you whom you can turn to. We do not do that to brush you off, but as an admission of where our remit ends.
What you tell us we do not write down as a target. The moment a target shows up in the file, it quietly turns into a promise from us.
Frequently asked questions
- Why are water, sleep and movement asked about?

- How should I keep my note?
