Brow shape and definition

Brow Microblading / Powder Brows

A hair-stroke or softly shaded approach that considers your brows and the expression you want.

Brow design considers the starting point, arch and tail together. Microblading focuses on a hair-stroke appearance, while powder brows create a shaded effect. The technique is selected after assessing your existing brows and skin.

You can start your permanent makeup booking online. Choose your branch, treatment and an available time; suitability and design are discussed before treatment.

Who may consider it?

  • People who feel their brows look sparse, uneven or irregular in shape.
  • People who want a more defined everyday appearance without applying brow products each day.

Our approach

  • Hair-stroke or shaded appearance
  • Design assessed around your existing brows
  • Colour and definition discussed together

Our approach

Before the look, we listen.

  1. Share your expectations

Tell us about the look you want, your everyday makeup preferences and any previous treatments.

  2. Consider the design together

We discuss shape, colour and definition in relation to your current appearance. Suitability and treatment scope are clarified at this stage.

  3. Meet again for a follow-up

We review the appearance together at your complimentary follow-up within 3–4 weeks after treatment.

Before your treatment

  • Tell us before your appointment if the brow area has a wound, infection, active dermatitis or significant irritation. Treatment may need to be postponed.
  • Share the most recent dates of retinoid or acid use, chemical peels, laser treatments or brow-shaping procedures.
  • Disclose medicines, including blood thinners, allergies, a tendency to form keloid scars, and any previous permanent makeup or tattoos. Do not stop prescribed medicines without medical advice.

After your treatment

  • Your brows may initially look darker than expected; the colour may soften as the area heals.
  • Do not scratch the area or pick at scabs. Use only the products and cleansing method recommended for your individual aftercare.
  • For approximately the first 7–14 days, avoid brow makeup, peels, retinoids, pools, saunas, steam and heavy sweating, and protect the area from direct sunlight. Confirm your individual aftercare plan with your practitioner.
  • Pay attention to sun protection once the colour has settled. Tell your practitioner about the permanent makeup before further skin-renewing treatments.

Longevity and healing

Approximate longevity
A defined colour appearance may commonly last approximately 12–24 months. Earlier fading or longer-lasting traces of pigment are possible; hair-stroke lines may soften over time, particularly on oily skin.
Healing and assessment
Initial surface healing may take approximately 1–2 weeks. Colour is generally assessed after 4–6 weeks; individual timelines can vary.

Please note

The appearance and fading rate of pigment vary from person to person. Longevity and the final colour cannot be guaranteed.

Let us discuss suitability

Before you decide

Permanent makeup involves applying pigment into the skin. Infection, allergic reactions and scarring are possible, and removing the pigment can be difficult. Share any previous treatments and known sensitivities. Discuss health-related suitability questions with a healthcare professional. Aftercare and follow-up information are provided individually.

Your questions

How do microblading and powder brows differ?

Microblading focuses on a hair-stroke appearance; powder brows focus on shading. Your preferred look is considered alongside your existing brows and skin.

How is the brow shape chosen?

Your existing brows, facial expression and preferred look are considered together. The starting point, arch and tail are discussed before treatment.

Is a follow-up included?

Yes. One follow-up within 3–4 weeks after treatment is complimentary. Any additional treatment or touch-up is discussed separately.

Your questions about permanent makeup

Will permanent makeup disappear completely?

The colour may fade over time, but complete disappearance of the pigment cannot be guaranteed. Some people may retain traces of colour for many years.

Will I see the final colour straight after treatment?

No. The colour may look darker or more vivid during the first few days. Its appearance can change as the skin flakes and renews; it is usually assessed more accurately after approximately 4–6 weeks.

When is the follow-up appointment?

One follow-up within 3–4 weeks after treatment is complimentary. Healing and pigment retention are reviewed, and any need for additional pigment application is assessed separately.

Is a touch-up always necessary?

No. The need varies with skin type, treatment area and pigment retention. Any touch-up and its price are confirmed after assessment at the centre. A complimentary follow-up is not the same as a complimentary touch-up.

Can I have the treatment while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Tell us before booking if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Suitability for elective pigment treatments needs to be assessed, and treatment may need to be postponed. Consult your healthcare professional about health-related decisions.

Are there risks during or after treatment?

Temporary sensitivity, redness, swelling and flaking may occur. Infection, allergic reactions, pigment migration or colour changes are also possible.

When should I seek medical attention?

Seek medical attention for increasing or spreading redness, worsening pain, pus, fever, cold sore lesions or widespread allergy symptoms. Changes in vision or severe eye pain after eye-area treatment require urgent assessment.

Can sunlight and skincare products affect longevity?

Yes. UV exposure and skin-renewing treatments such as peels and retinoids can change the appearance of pigment. Pay attention to sun protection once the area has healed, and tell your practitioner about your permanent makeup before later skincare treatments.
